Slayer Confirm Breakup & Announce Farewell Tour


Surprising news to the metalhead around the world. The thunderbolt snatched in broad daylight, the news coming from a legendary metal giant, Slayer who had just announced a farewell tour. Was the end of Slayer's long journey already in sight?

Through a video titled 'The End is Near ... Slayer to make its exit with one, the final world tour.', Tom Araya et al announced his last tour. The video features video montage and photos of Slayer's career for 37 years. The date itself has not been announced. But the thrash metal dedengkot ensures that this parting tour will be a world tour.

Launched Loudwire, for the American tour which is planned to be held this year will also bring the big names in the realm of rock music, namely Lamb of God, Anthrax, Behemoth, and Testament.

In 2016, the frontman Tom Araya once revealed to Loudwire about his musical future. "After 35 years, maybe it's time to retire."

"I like to sing and vomit anger and convince people that this man (Araya) is a maniac. It's like acting. You absorb the lyrics and show it with facial expression, body expression, intensity - I like it. "
