Amon Amarth Releases a Viking-Themed Game For Smartphones


Amon Amarth has released mobile video games through App Store and Google Play on November 20th. This Viking-inspired game has a retro look and gameplay like an arcade.

This 8-bit style adventure game is played from side to side. Players must accompany Thor along Midgard's nature to exterminate his enemy using lightning and giant hammers Mjolnir.

There are 12 levels, 4 different worlds and 18 enemies that players must pass in this game. During play, the game plays Amon Amarth songs of 8-bit version of the tune chip, "Guardians Of Asgaard", "As Loke Falls", "Twilight Of The Thunder God", "Death In Fire" and "Raise Your Horns" .

The initial concept of this game is done when Robert Chirico Willstedt, video game producer and founder of Ride & Crash Games AB, met Amon Amarth at the end of 2015. Through the meeting was born the concept of retro-style viking adventure game and accompanied by the format of the 80s square wave music.


This game is already available to the public in the App Store and Google Play around the world. This game is priced at $ 8.99 (Rp 121.383, -) and does not include the purchase of items in it.
